Irma Godoy Madero departed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones on March 27, 2021.  Irma was born in Fronteras, Sonora on March 23, 1945 to Jesus and Enriqueta Godoy.  On June 9, 1969, Irma met her soul mate, Jose.  They were happily married for 51 years.  Irma was mother to Delfino, Irma Angelica, Jose, Javier and Jesse.  She raised her children with love and devotion with her husband Jose Madero.  She loved to knit, garden and had an extreme love for birds.  Her favorite Bible verse was Salmo 23.  She is preceded in death by her father Jesus Godoy, mother Enriqueta Godoy, brother Gilberto Godoy and sister Rosa Maria Godoy.  She is survived by her husband Jose Madero, children Delfino (Vicky) Escamilla, Irma Angelica (Ray) Larez, Jose (Ceci) Madero, Javier (Liz) Madero and Jesse (Melissa) Madero.  Grandchildren Theresa, Delfino, Jr., Joseline, Christopher, Johnathon, Ramon Chito), Yesenia, Alyssa, Johnny, Ray Anthony, Ricky, Aileen, Ashley, Leslie, Nathaniel, Fernando, Cecilia, Veronica, Julia, Anelisa, Delainee and Harlee.  Great-Grandchildren Eternity, Natalia, Josue, Jayleen, Aubrey, Aryn, Ally, Adryan, Fabian, Santiago, Delfino, Eliana, Ezekiel, Ariel and William.  Irma is also survived by her brother Zenon (Gloria) Godoy, sisters Blanca (Armando) Enriquez, Queta Dominguez and Alicia (Gabriel) Galaz along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Brown Page Mortuary with a Rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. also on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Douglas, Arizona where she will be laid to rest.
