IOMA MAY WILLIAMS
April 28, 1925 – February 25, 2016
Ioma May (Tom) Williams went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2016. Ioma was born in Hitchita, Oklahoma April 28, 1925 to James M. and Celia F. (Richwine) Hood. Ioma spent her younger years around Hitchita where she met and married D.J. Williams in 1942. D.J. was called to serve in the army in 1943. After his tour of duty the couple spent some time in Checotah, OK and in Bakerfield, California. In 1954 they moved to Elfrida. In 2000 Ioma moved to Indiana with her oldest grandson, Kenneth (Pete) Williams, there is where she spent the rest of her life. Ioma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband D.J. Williams, son David and daughter-in-law Opal Williams; 5 sisters and 1 brother. She leaves behind her son Tim (Paula) of Willcox, her twin sister Iona Fay (Jerry) Williams of Elfrida, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Brown Page Mortuary in Douglas, AZ with Graveside Funeral Services being offered at 3:00 p.m. at the McNeal Cemetery in McNeal, AZ.
