Henry R. Morales was born on July 15, 1946 and was called to Heaven on December 28, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret and sons Henry (Myra), Robert (fiancé, Violet) and daughter Cynthia (JC) Galas, Grandchildren, Viedel, Mia, Abbey, Miles and Mila. He is also survived by his brothers, Gil, Mike and Frank and sisters Agapita, Virgina and Ofelia. He will be reunited with his parents Gil and Hermenegilda Morales and granddaughter Avery Galas. Henry worked several years for Piper Auto Supply, Complete Auto, Southern Arizona Auto and Sperry Flight Systems before applying to work at the Arizona Department of Corrections where he was employed from February 12, 1985 to February 26, 2010, retiring after 25 years of service. Henry graduated from Douglas High School in 1966 and was a member of the Coachmen Club. He was also active in the Army, enlisting in 1968 and was a Staff Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 1973. He also served as Squad Leader of the Military Police in the National Guard. Henry enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren, who he adored. He enjoyed his hobby of making jewelry and talking with his friends and family. He will be deeply missed and we will especially miss his funny jokes. We love you Henry, you were a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Brown Page Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery. A celebration of Henry's life will be held when the current pandemic is safely ended.
