Hector A. Hernandez ( El Chivis ) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital In Phoenix on Tuesday March 29, surrounded by his family.
Born November 9, 1969 to Jesus Hernandez And Maria Teresa Hernandez , Hector is preceded in death by his mother Maria Teresa Hernandez. His surviving siblings are Lucia, Alicia, Jesusita, Robert, Frank, Veronica from Douglas.
Hector was born in Agua Prieta Sonora and was raised in Douglas, where he fathered four children, Destiny H., Joaquin H., Hector Jr. H. and Ralph H.
He suffered COPD for two years and was overcome by it. His pass time was watching The Price Is Right and was always cheerful with everyone. He leaves an empty space in the hearts of his family and everyone who knew him.
Viewing will be on Thursday, April 7 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Brown Page Mortuary followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 928 C Ave, Douglas, AZ.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, April 8, at 10:30 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Church. Hector will be laid to rest afterwards at Calvary Cemetery.
