Our beloved Guadalupe Carrillo Pedregon, a longtime resident of Douglas, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Lupita was born in Dolores, Chihuahua, Mexico, on December 12, 1924, to Demetrio Carrillo and Juana Sandoval.

Orphaned at the tender age of six, Lupita's early years were marked by courage and resilience. She was lovingly raised by her aunt, Gregoria Sandoval, in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. It was there that she met her husband, Jesus R. Pedregon. Together, they built a humble but joy-filled life in Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico and later Douglas, Arizona, where they raised their family and created a home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love.

Lupita was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister, and her devoted husband, Jesus. She is survived by her six children, who will forever cherish her memory:

She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom she touched with her boundless love, her warmth, and her gentle wisdom.

Lupita was a woman of deep faith and strong conviction. Her rosary was rarely out of reach, and she prayed daily with devotion, often surrounded by family. She found great joy in simple acts of love — cooking hearty meals, sewing with care, tending to her garden, and sharing her skills with anyone willing to learn. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome, where laughter mixed with the aroma of homemade tortillas, and where love was expressed through service and selflessness.

She cared for her family and extended family with unwavering compassion, including her last surviving brother, whom she lovingly tended to until his passing. Lupita's kindness, humility, and generosity were unmatched. She lived her faith by example, always giving without expecting anything in return.

She was a devoted member of Virgen de Guadalupe Church in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, and later of Immaculate Conception Parish in Douglas, Arizona.

Lupita will be remembered not only as a matriarch but as the heart and soul of her family. Her legacy of love will continue to guide all who were blessed to know her.

May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved husband and all those who went before her.

Nuestra querida Guadalupe Carrillo Pedregón, residente de Douglas, Arizona desde Diciembre de 1968, falleció pacíficamente en su casa, rodeada de su amada familia. Guadalupe nació en Dolores, Chihuahua, México, el 12 de diciembre de 1924, hija de Demetrio Carrillo y Juana Sandoval.

Huérfana a la tierna edad de seis años, los primeros años de Lupita estuvieron marcados por su fortalezael.  Fue criada con amor por su tía, Gregoria Sandoval, en Cananea, Sonora, México. Fue allí donde conoció a su esposo, Jesús R. Pedregón. Juntos, construyeron una vida humilde pero llena de alegría en Agua Prieta, Son Mex y después en Douglas, Arizona, donde criaron a su familia y formaron un hogar lleno de risas, fe y amor incondicional.

Lupita fue precedida en muerte por sus padres, cuatro hermanos, una hermana y su devoto esposo, Jesús. Le sobreviven sus seis hijos, que siempre apreciarán su memoria:

También deja muchos nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos, a cada uno de los cuales tocó con su amor ilimitado, su calidez y su gentil sabiduría.

Lupita era una mujer de profunda fe y fuerte convicción. Su rosario rara vez estaba fuera de su alcance, y rezaba diariamente con devoción, a menudo rodeada de su familia. Encontró una gran alegría en los actos simples de amor: cocinar comidas abundantes, coser con cuidado, cuidar su jardín y compartir sus habilidades con cualquiera que estuviera dispuesto a aprender. Su hogar era un lugar donde todos se sentían bienvenidos, donde la risa se mezclaba con el aroma de las tortillas caseras y donde el amor se expresaba a través del servicio y el desinterés.

Cuidó de su familia y de su familia extendida con una compasión inquebrantable, incluido su último hermano sobreviviente, a quien atendió con amor hasta su fallecimiento. La amabilidad, humildad y generosidad de Lupita fueron inigualables. Vivió su fe con el ejemplo, siempre dando sin esperar nada a cambio.

Fue miembro devoto de la Iglesia Virgen de Guadalupe en Agua Prieta, Sonora, México, y más tarde de la Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepción en Douglas, Arizona.

Lupita será recordada no solo como una matriarca, sino como el corazón y el alma de su familia. Su legado de amor continuará guiando a todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.
