Guadalupe R. Fuentes passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona in the presence of her loving husband and two daughters.  She was born December 12, 1933 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico to Angel Ruiz Cota and Ernestina Arvayo.  She married Manuel Fuentes on July 5, 1961 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico.  Mom was a very hard worker, she worked at Fiesta Company, Billy the Kid and several ranches in Bonita and Elfrida, Arizona.  She was a very loving and caring wife and mother, always put her children's needs first before hers.  Mom loved to play cards and games and do work search puzzles.   Her pastimes included crocheting, embroidering and all kinds of crafts.  She loved music and dancing.  There was never a time that we came to visit that she didn't have food already prepared and there was always enough to go around, no matter how many people came.   She was preceded in death by her daughter and grandson.  She is survived by her husband, Manuel Fuentes, son, Francisco Fuentes and three daughters, Francisca Vega, Francisca Porter and Frances Sanchez.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends whose lives she touched.   A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at St. Luke's Catholic Church.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 also at St. Luke's Church with Father Virgillio "JoJo" Tabo, Jr. officiating.   Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery
