Guadalupe Acuna de Arvizu passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on December 5, 1932 in Jecori, Sonora, Mexico.  Guadalupe was preceded in death by her Husband Nicolas Arvizu; Parents Ramon Acuna and Dolores Vasquez; Son Gabriel Arvizu; Brother Francisco Acuna; Sister Ofelia Moreno and Grandson Jose Daniel Arvizu.  She is survived by her Sons Martin (Carmen) Arvizu, Miguel (Erica) Arvizu, Jose (Michelle) Arvizu and Daughters Lupita and Jessica Arvizu.  She is also survived by her Brothers; Ezequiel, Emilio, Jose and Alfonso Acuna; Sisters Maria Acuna and Dolores Martinez; Grandchildren Yssa Encinas, Martin Arvizu, Jr., Yvette Baltierrez, Alex Estrada, Stephanie Estrada, Ailoni Arvizu Montoya, Vianna Nicole Arvizu, Mark Arvizu, Gisselle Arvizu, Miguel Angel Arvizu, Miguel Alejandro Arvizu and Anna Maria Arvizu along with 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Guadalupe was a great homemaker.  She was a Wonderful cook and enjoyed gardening.  She was a beloved mother and grandmother and she had a loving smile for everyone she knew.  A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at St. Luke's Catholic Church.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018 also at St. Luke's Church.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
