Genoveva "Jenny" Moreno, 91, of Pirtleville, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2025.

Jenny was born and raised in Paul Spur, Arizona, and in 1967 she made her home in Pirtleville, Arizona, where she spent most of her life.She was a dedicated school bus driver for the Forrest School District for more than 30 years and also worked as a housekeeper for several families in and around Douglas. Jenny was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and devotion to those she served.

A devout Catholic, Jenny was a longtime member of St. Bernard Church in Pirtleville. She had a deep love for animals and enjoyed gardening, but her greatest joy came from her family—especially her four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Jenny is survived by her daughter, Anna Moreno; her brother, Frank Ybarra; her grandchildren Patricia Villareal, Jessica (Rene) Bernal-Mejia, Joey Mejia, and Maria Teresa (Miguel) Acevedo; her great-grandchildren Brianna, Javier, Damian Aguilar, Angel Arzate, Sara, and Alizea Bernal-Mejia; and her great-great-grandchildren Elias and Ezriel Aguilar. She is also survived by several  nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Maria Mejia; her brother Albert Ybarra; her sister Gloria Castillo; her parents Francisca and Mariano Ybarra; and her husband Rodrigo Moreno.

Services will be held on January 9, 2026, at St. Bernard Church in Pirtleville, Arizona. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Our beloved Jenny will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed.
