Former Douglas resident, Frank Vigil, 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in Sierra Vista, Arizona. He was born on July 17, 1927 in Douglas, Arizona to Francisco and Feliciana Gomez Vigil. Frank is survived by his wife Rita Vigil of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Daughter Suzanne Stamer and three grandchildren. A Rosary for Frank will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church in Douglas, Arizona. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:30 a.m. with Father Greg Adolf from St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Sierra Vista officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Douglas, Arizona. Pallbearers who will serve are Francisco Somoza, Michael Jordan, Tim Vigil, Andrew Vigil, Bruce Vigil and Andy Jordan.
