Frank was greeted in heaven by his wife, Dolores Cota Ortigoza, and his sons, Michael Ortigoza and David Ortigoza.  He is survived by his two remaining children, Vanessa Ortigoza of Douglas and Frank Ortigoza Jr. (Portia) of San Diego, California, as well as 5 grand children and 6 great grandchildren.  In addition, several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A hardworking man who grew up in Elfrida, Pirtleville and Douglas.  At his grandfather's farm in Elfrida he labored in picking all the amenities that farmland could produce for the local communities.  He had many jobs when he lived in Douglas, including working for Nelson's Glass Company and the City of Douglas' Water Department.  He was known as a painter in Douglas, having vast experience in painting various businesses and residential settings for many years.

He loved life to the fullest; playing pool was among his many extra-curricular activities in his younger days. He was once known as one of Douglas's best pool players at the local B&P.  His hobbies included working on his 69 Dodge truck and fixing antique bicycles, among the many intricate things he did.

Later in life, he enjoyed visiting the local McDonald's and Burger King restaurants for a cup of coffee.  There, his pleasure was conversing with ole-time friends and locals to stay abreast of all the local news.  His children considered him "a memorabilia" of many families, friends, and locals he encountered in his life in Douglas. Old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood western movies were also his favorite as well as watching Cantinflas. A part of his routine on Sundays was going to church at Silver Creek where he enjoyed the fellowship.
