Francisco was born on October 7, 1957 in Agua Prieta, Sonora.  He passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023.  Francisco was preceded in death by his mother, Socorro Mendez and younger brother, Arnulfo Mendez.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Irene Mendez; 3 daughters, Lucia, Leticia (John Calderon) and Catalina (Alfred Rodriguez); 3 grandchildren, Rene Mendez, Jaden Calderon, and Jaylene Calderon as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Ayanna Mendez and Blaze Mendez.

Francisco was a hardworking man, having been a truck driver for forty years.  He loved horses, rodeos and cabalgatas.  Francisco had a big heart and cracked jokes up to his final moments.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2023 at Brown Page Mortuary.   A Rosary will be recited at 10:15 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church.   A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. also at St. Luke's Catholic Church.
