FRANCES RAMIREZ ORTEGA

August 28, 1936 – March 25, 2026

We honor the life and memory of a beautiful person, our mother Frances Ramirez Ortega, who passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 89.  Our mother was born August 28, 1936 in Bisbee, Arizona.  She was raised in Gleason, Arizona.  She married in Wilcox, Arizona in 1957 to Antonio Ortega.  She touched many hearts, including her children Antonio Ortega Jr. (Lilia), Albert Ortega (deceased), Rosa L. Urrutia (Salvador) and Maria Elena Gibson.  She was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  She dedicated her life to God and to her family.  She was a CCD teacher and coordinator; a Eucharistic minister and reader and a member of the Vela Perpetua.  Our Mother will live forever in our hearts; her memory has become our treasure.  Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026. at St. Bernard's Church.  Reception to follow at Immaculate Conception Hall.
