Evelyn Robles passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona. Evelyn was born to Arturo Laborin and Hortencia Rivera Robles on January 15, 1936. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ramon, Esteban, Reynaldo, Manuel and sisters Cecelia and Ramona, and her daughter Linda Young.

Evelyn is survived by her children Terry (Mike) Jordan, Michael (Maria) LaForge, Annette (Art) Robinson, Susan (Edward) LaForge and Richard (Carol) LaForge.     Her siblings Bobby (Irma) Robles, Leo (Dolores) Robles and sister in-law Marina Robles.

Evelyn attended schools in Douglas and graduated in 1956. Evelyn worked many years at the Douglas Hospital, DARC and at Douglas Unified School District. Evelyn stopped working at the school district and dedicated herself to helping and taking care of her daughter, Linda for many years.

Despite Evelyn's health issues, she enjoyed going shopping, making tamales and spending time with her family especially with her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Viewing hours will be on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. followed by the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Brown Page Mortuary. A Mass of   the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at St. Luke's Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Michael Jordan Jr., Artie Robinson Jr., Richard LaForge Jr., Michael LaForge Jr., Brandon Young and Tony Young.
