Evarista Oquita, 92, passed away peacefully in her home on April 9, 2022.  Born October 26, 1929, Evarista left behind her 3 daughters, Magdalena Vasquez, Myrna Hernandez, and Evangelina Arrellano; her granddaughters, Xylin Vasquez, Priscilla Vasquez, Michelle Erives and Melissa Abellana; her grandsons Arturo Vasquez, Hector Hernandez, Jr. and Edgar Arellano as well as her 9 great grandchildren.  Evarista was an extremely loving wife, mother and grandmother who made a huge impact on our lives.  She was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Oquita, her husband Roberto Oquita, and her grandson Diego Oquita.  She will be deeply missed and will live on forever in our hearts.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Brown Page Mortuary with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00 pm.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers who will serve ae Arturo Vasquez, Jr., Hector Hernandez, Jr., Edgar Arellano, Robert Olivas, Francisco Erives, Hector Hernandez and Arturo Vasquez.
