Esther Cota was born in Douglas, AZ March 27, 1927. She has passed away in Goodyear, AZ on March 10, 2016 at the home of her dear friend Doris Jurgens after a short illness. In her younger years she worked at the Gadsden Hotel as an elevator operator, then went on to work at the Douglas Rexall Drug Store until it closed. She then worked at the Carousel until that clothes shop was closed. She retired after the Carousel closed to enjoy the rest of her days with her mother and siblings. She leaves behind family and dear friends who adored her greatly and loved her dearly. We miss her terribly but know she is happy and peaceful in the arms of her Lord Jesus and family who preceded her to Heaven. To honor her we will be having a celebration of life on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Luke's Catholic Church. The rosary will precede the mass and burial, followed by food and fellowship at the American Legion from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
