Ernesto Luna Romero A.K.A. Zurdo, was born October 21, 1940 in Fronteras, Sonora Mexico. He went to be with our Almighty Lord December 12, 2014. He married the love of his life, Francisca Martinez Romero. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years and children, Jose V. (Maria) Romero, Ernesto (Tricia) Romero Jr, Mari (Andy) Mora, Marco A. Romero, Alma T. (Danny) Quesada, Margarita M. Romero, Ricardo (Lia) Romero, 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Alayna Monet Romero. He worked diligently and took on all employment opportunities ultimately owning his own business out of his home as a welder by trade. He dedicated much time to working but most importantly, made certain to spend quality time with his children. He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He impacted everyone who crossed his path in a positive manner. Made precious memories with others and always offered a helping hand to those in need. Among his greatest accomplishments were his grandchildren with whom he cherished spending time. Our father was and will continue to be our idol and hero. We were blessed to have loved and will continue to love the most amazing, intelligent, hard-working, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He'll be missed greatly and his memories will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in Peace, Dad. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 also at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers who will serve are Jose V. Romero, Ernesto Romero Jr., Marco A. Romero, Ricardo Romero, Andy Mora, Sr. and Danny Quesada.
