Edward P. "Buster" Callahan went to be with the Lord on April14, 2022.  He was born on October 1, 1942 in Paris, Texas and was 3 months old when his parents moved to Tucson, Az. He was the oldest of the six children of Harvey and Emma Sue Callahan who preceded him in death as well as his brother Wayne and sister Virginia Callahan.  Buster is survived by his wife of 54 years Adela, son Dalton, daughter Stephanie, granddaughters Jennah and Gabriella, grandsons Marcus, Tristen, Trevor, and Ethan and one great great grandchild Michael.  He is also survived by his brothers John and Patrick and his sister Barbara.  He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.  Buster was a faithful and loving husband, a terrific father, a wonderful grandfather, and a great brother.  He loved the Lord and loved going to church.  He was kind, willing to help others, a blessing to his family who adored him and will be missed tremendously.  We all thank God for letting us have Buster in our lives for the time he had with us.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2022 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Elfrida, AZ with Pastor Ron Gilliland officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mc Neal Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard and American Legion Post 11.  Pallbearers who will serve are Dalton W. Callahan, John Callahan, Patrick Callahan, Marcus Callahan, Tristen Lawson, Trevor Callahan and Ethan Chamberlain.
