He began his working career at a young age while he was still living with his nana at Franklin's Department Store in Nogales Arizona as a manager trainee and then moved to Douglas Arizona to become the manager at the Franklins Department Store.  This is where he met and married Isa Arvayo and together had two children, Eddie(+) and Sergio(+).  Later they moved and he worked at Magna Copper Mine in San Manuel. He drove hours after work to play his favorite sport of basketball for Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico. Ed also enjoyed coaching and sponsoring baseball for the local teams. He moved back to Douglas to open and own his own gas station and automotive repair shop "Lonestar" that served the Douglas Community till his passing.  Later in life he married Celia De la Torre and together had a son, Alejandro Posada.  He was a member of the Douglas Golf Course Country Club and was part of  a group of golfers that called themselves the "Cool Arrows." They enjoyed traveling to many different golf courses throughout Arizona and Nevada. He then met Melanie Boshens and together they had two sons, sons Eddie and Ryan Posada.
