Obituary

Edmundo M. Moran passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Copper Queen Community Hospital in Bisbee, Arizona. Born in Bacadehuachi, Sonora, Mexico on June 15, 1934, he has been a Douglas resident for more than 60 years. Edmundo worked as a heavy equipment operator at Paul Lime Plant for many years prior to his retirement. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church and a participating member of the Knights of Columbus, having received the rank of fourth degree Knight. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Moran and his Daughter Frances Rochin. Edmundo is survived by his sister Calletana Rosas of Cananea, Sonora, nephew Fernando Rosas, nieces Maribel Soto, Marta Ana Rosas and Lupita Olivas as well as many others. A Rosary for Edmundo will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. with Father Armando Espinosa officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12 where Edmundo will be laid to rest by his wife and daughter.
