Cutberto "Guty" Sanchez passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving Family. Guty was born on March 20, 1939 in Becerac, Sonora to Manuel and Josephina Sanchez. Guty was a business owner for over 60 years.
He is survived by his wife Martha of 53 years, children; Cindy, Selma (Rene) Federico, Cutberto "JR", Rosela (Donnie) Arvayo, Manuel and Jerry; 12 grandchildren, Victoria (Danny), Alexandria (Ryan), JD, Olivia, Isaac, Joshua, Joey (Veronica), Trevor, Jordan, Tyler, Gerardito and Mateo: four great grandchildren Samantha, Ezekiel, Baby Danny and Baby Joey; and several nieces and nephews. Guty will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of life, music, singing, the outdoors, and just enjoying the company of family and friends. The family would like to thank all of Guty's friends, neighbors and the community of Pirtleville and Douglas for all of their love and support extended throughout this difficult time. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Brown Page Mortuary and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. at St. Bernard's Church in Pirtleville with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 also at St. Bernard's Church. Burial will follow at the Pirtleville Cemetery.
