Obituary

Consuelo Estrada Trujillo passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of faith, compassion, and service.

Born on April 2, 1933, Consuelo was raised in a mining community and educated in Nacozari. Throughout her life, she embodied the virtues of humility, honesty, dignity, and grace.

Consuelo was a modest woman of remarkable beauty, both inside and out. Her radiant presence was matched by an even more beautiful heart. Her faith was unwavering, and her compassion knew no boundaries. She proudly dedicated her life to her family and Consuelo spent her years quietly and faithfully serving the hungry, the poor, the sick, and all those who found themselves burdened by life's hardships. She saw beyond circumstance and recognized the sacred dignity of every human soul. To know Consuelo was to encounter grace in its purest form and a generosity that touched countless lives.

A lover of wisdom, learning, and giving, Consuelo was an avid reader who found joy in books on philosophy and faith. She was always cheering on her children and grandchildren at their sporting events and celebrating their accomplishments. She loved singing and was always in the kitchen preparing meals that brought her family together around the dinner table. Her door was always open and she treasured every opportunity to gather with and care for those she loved.

While her family and friends mourn her passing, they rejoice in the enduring gift of her example. Her life reminds us that true greatness is found not in recognition, but in service; not in wealth, but in generosity; and not in what we receive, but in what we give. Her beautiful spirit, unwavering faith, and legacy of selfless love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Consuelo's life stands as a testament to the enduring power of compassion and the extraordinary impact one humble, faithful, and loving woman can have on the world.
