Carolina Rosalia "Chalia" Fimbres passed away at her home in Douglas on January 7, 2015. She was born on March 12, 1927 in Guadalajara, Jalisco to Maria and Eugenio. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Sigifredo "Sigi" Fimbres and leaves behind her four children Manuel (Lucy) Villalobos, Freddie (Nilda) Fimbres, Ana (Sergio) Villicana, and Irasema Fimbres along with 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Chalia worked as a nurse and later as a loving homemaker. She enjoyed sitting outside watching the cars go by and talking to neighbors while in the company of her beloved caretakers. Holy Rosary will be recited on Friday January 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Brown Page Mortuary with Fr. Armando Espinoza. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Armando Espinoza. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers who will serve are Manuel Villalobos, Freddie Fimbres, Sergio Villicana, Jesus Villalobos, Frankie Zamora, and Benjamin Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jose Rosadillo Jr. and Alejandro Fimbres.
