Carlos "Yogi" Ortiz passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 8, 2013. Yogi was an exceptional person, liked and loved by many people. Yogi was a giving, well-known person in Douglas.
Yogi was born February 3, 1957 to Rosalio and Isabel Ortiz, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lt. J. G Antonio Ortiz, and Octavio Ortiz, his nephew Rolando Monge, and his grandparents Nicolas and Bartola Ortiz.

He is survived by his sisters Olivia (Joe deceased) Denicola, Irene (Rafael) Monge, Martha (Sam deceased) Robles, Magnolia (Moses) Patino, Brothers Robert (Rose) Ortiz, Rosalie (Sylvia) Ortiz, (19) nephews and nieces and (7) great grand nephews and nieces, (5) great-great grand nephews and nieces, uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins. He is also leaves his very good friends Paul and Deanna Villareal, Diane and Mike Clark, cousins Ismael and Gloria Toscano and his partners in his catering business.
Yogi you will be missed so very much. We love you.

Visitations will be held at Brown Page Mortuary on Friday December 13, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Saint Bernard Church in Pirtleville, Arizona with a Holy Rosary being recited at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of the Resurrection being celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pirtleville, Arizona. Pallbearers who will serve are Robert Ortiz, Ernie Ortiz, Michael Ortiz, Robert Parra, Paul Villareal and George Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rafael Monge Jr., Ismael Toscano, Lorenzo Toscano, Tony Ortiz, Richard Haro, Eddie Haro, Manuel Ortiz, Guillermo Ortiz, Justin Denicola, Sam Robles, Leo Robles A.J. Ortiz and Mike Clark.
