It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Carlos Rios Andrade at the age of 91 on March 5th, 2021 at home with family beside him.

He is preceded in death by his son Carlos; survived by his wife Beatriz Andrade with whom he spent 70 beautiful years; his children ; his children Amelia, Ana Maria, Mercedes, Maricela, Marco Antonio, Alma Rosa, Eduardo, Adrian; his 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we stand united as a family just like he would have desired. We cherish the happy memories that were created throughout his lifetime. He was a wonderful husband and father who dedicated his life to ensuring the welfare of his family members. Throughout his life he was a strong, rugged, hard-working farmer bringing life not only to the lands he cultivated but our lives as well. As he grew older and became a grandfather and eventually a great grandfather, he gracefully took on those roles by sharing his stories and wisdom with them.

Although God was gracious in lending him to us for 91 years, even that amount of time seems insufficient. We will miss his solo musical guitar performances, his contagious laughter and his amazing sense of humor which captivated so many of us. His drive for excellence, not perfection, is the foundation he set for our families. The strength in his eyes motivated many of his descendants to fearlessly and relentlessly strive for the beyond.

As a family we promise to keep his legacy alive and to pass his wisdom on to future generations. We kindly ask that when you reminisce about his life, you recall the strength and the magnitude of his love which he spread like the seeds among the farms.

Es con gran pesar que anunciamos el fallecimiento de Carlos Rios Andrade a la edad de 91 años el 5 de Marzo de 2021. Es precedido en la muerte por su hijo Carlos Andrade; sobrevivido por su esposa Beatriz Andrade con quien pasó 70 hermosos años con; sus hijos Amelia, Ana Maria, Mercedes, Maricela, Marco Antonio, Alma Rosa, Eduardo, Adrian; sus 18 nietos y 23 bisnietos.

Mientras lamentamos esta tremenda pérdida nos mantenemos unidos como familia, tal como él hubiera deseado. Apreciamos los recuerdos felices que se crearon a lo largo de su vida. Fue un esposo y padre maravilloso que dedicó su vida a garantizar el bienestar de los miembros de su familia. Fue un granjero fuerte, resistente y trabajador que trajo vida no solo a las tierras que cultivaba sino también a nuestras vidas. A medida que creció y se convirtió en abuelo y, finalmente en bisabuelo,asumió con gracia esos papeles compartiendo sus historias y sabiduría con ellos.

Aunque Dios tuvo la gracia de prestárnoslo durante 91 años, incluso esa cantidad de tiempo parece insuficiente. Extrañaremos sus actuaciones de guitarra musical solista, su risa contagiosa y su increíble sentido del humor que cautivo a muchos de nosotros. Su impulso por la excelencia, no la perfección, es la base que establece para nuestras familias. La fuerza en sus ojos motivó a muchos de sus descendientes a luchar sin miedo y sin descanso por el más allá.

Como familia, prometemos mantener vivo su legado y transmitir su sabiduría a las generaciones futuras. Te pedimos amablemente que cuando recuerdes su vida, recuerdes la fuerza y la magnificencia de su amor que esparció como semillas entre las granjas.
