Beverly H. Wright, 86, born in Douglas on April 27, 1930 to Earl and Anna Eddins, Beverly went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2016 after a short illness passing away at Tucson Medical Center. Beverly married Foster Wright in 1950 and made their home in Douglas their entire lives. Her husband Foster preceded her in death in 2000. Mrs. Wright is survived by three children Tom Wright (Toots) of Payson, Arizona, Karen Wright Newby (Jim) of Ft. Stockton, Texas and Michael Wright (Garlene) of Douglas. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two sisters Bernice Amberson of Cochise, Arizona and Eleanor Gee of Tucson along with many nieces and nephews. Beverly was a member of the First Baptist Church serving as a Greeter. She loved her church and its members while worshipping the Lord. She enjoyed visiting those in need and sending cards of encouragement. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brown Page Mortuary. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13th at the First Baptist Church of Douglas on the corner of 10th St. and E Avenue with a reception to follow in the Church Hall. Pastor John Hopson will officiate the ceremony and all are welcome to attend in the celebration of Beverly's life. The family would like to thank the many caregivers and Hospital staff at TMC for their dedication and care during her last days. Pallbearers who will serve are Tom Wright, Thomas Wright Jr., Jim Newby, Rob Johnson, Michael Wright and Michael Wright Jr.
