Bernardo Rodriguez Acedo, 78, of Douglas, Arizona, passed away on August 29, 2024. Bernardo was born on September 30, 1945 to Manuel Acedo and Socorro Rodriguez Acedo in Douglas, Arizona.

After graduating from Douglas High School Bernardo went on to receive a bachelors degree in Bilingual Education from The University of Arizona and worked as a teacher for many years.

Bernardo enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing with family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and wife Maria.

Bernardo was predeceased by siblings Rodolfo Acedo, Manuel Acedo, Angie Acedo Rivas, Graciela Acedo Davis, Carolina Acedo Gutierrez and daughter Nancy Acedo.

Bernardo is survived by his son Jose Juan Acedo, grandchildren Sofia Aileen Acedo, Jose Juan Acedo Jr, Eros Acedo Perez and Marcos Acedo and brother Jose Luis Acedo.

Viewing will be held at Brown Page Mortuary in Douglas, Arizona from 8:00 am. to 10:00 am. The Rosary will be held at Saint Luke's Catholic Church at 10:30 am followed by mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
