Beatriz (Bea) Serrato of Douglas, AZ passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 93.  Beatriz was born March 28, 1929, in Douglas, Arizona.  She was one of six siblings born to Saturnino Campaña and Maria Jesus Campaña of Douglas, AZ.  Her siblings are Antonio, Carlos, Guillermo, Alicia and Anita.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Brenda (Gabriel) Alvarado, Virginia (David) Haro, Alicia (Monchi) Montaño, Linda (Heriberto) Gonzalez, Elizabeth Gonzales, Lillian (Manny) Ortiz, Ramon (Karla) Serrato and David (Jenny) Serrato. She was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ramon M. Serrato in Feb 28, 1988, whom she married in 1951; and her brothers Antonio, Carlos and Guillermo Campaña.

Beatriz enjoyed knitting, collecting dolls, watching "novellas" and had traveled across the US to visit places she wanted to visit.  She enjoyed her family and enjoyed her favorite dishes, menudo, tacos, and enchiladas.  During her younger years while employed at the school cafeteria, she became famous with her delicious soft baked bread.  This inspired her to create her famous memorable and most delicious cinnamon rolls!

She has now joined her family and those who preceded her to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
