Obituary

Our beautiful mom Angie Lugo was called home by the Lord and passed peacefully on May 20th 2025 at the blessed age of 90.

She was surrounded by her family who she loved dearly and our hearts will never be the same without her.

Mom was born and raised in Douglas with family, friends and wonderful memories.  She loved to dance, listen to music, go to Bingo and play poker with friends.  She was a big fan of the Diamondbacks baseball team. She worked for her dad at Eddie's Music store and also worked for Vernon's clothing store.

Our mom was preceeded in death by her husband John C. Lugo, her parents Edward and Rafaela Calderon and brother Jose G. Calderon (Gerri).

Our beautiful mom leaves behind 7 children, Veronica (Luis) Murray, John Lugo, Cecilia Lugo, Martha (Doyle) Beard, Susan Lugo, Hector Lugo and Linda Durfee.

She also leaves behind and will be greatly missed by her, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren along with her niece's and nephews that are to many to count.

She is survived by 6 brothers and sisters. Mary Grajeda (George) deceased, Eddie Calderon Jr. (Karen) deceased, Robert Calderon (Cindy), Esther Gil (Hector), Helen Corcetti (Richard Keith) and John Calderon (Maureen)

Services will be held on June 21st 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with a Holy Rosary being recited at 10:30am followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00am.  Graveside services at be held at Calvary Cemetery immediately after mass.

Celebration of her life to follow at The American Legion.
