Angela A. Martinez, 81, was called to the Lord on March 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 2nd, 1942, to Guadalupe Acosta and Guillermina Escalante in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico.

Angela is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Mercedes Escalante† and Juana Rivera†. She is survived by her loving husband Miguel M. Martinez, her two children, Claudia L. Matinez, Miguel (Alyssa) Martinez Jr., and three grandchildren: Gabriela, Alexsandra, and Miguelito. She also leaves behind three brothers: Jesus Acosta, Eduardo Acosta, and Guadalupe Acosta.

She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Angela dedicated many years to the Immaculate Conception Church Prayer Group. Her most important and blessed role was being "Nana Gela" to her grandchildren, "her babies." Words cannot simply describe the void she will leave behind, but her selflessness and dedication to others will always be cherished and remembered.

Pallbearers are: Miguel Martinez, Jr, Pedro Valdez, Ruben Rivera, Sergio Rivera, Rudy Rivera, and Edward Acosta.

Viewing hours will be Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1:00 pm-5:30 pm followed by a Holy Rosary at 5:30pm at Brown Page Mortuary. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Reception will be held at the American Legion Fred Hilburn Post 11 following burial services.
