Angel Campas
Rojas
Oct 1, 1948 — Mar 2, 2022
Angel Campas Rojas beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend gained his wings on March 2, 2022. Angel was born on October 1, 1948 in Douglas, Arizona to Gabriel and Juanita Rojas. He leaves behind his cherished wife "Rosita" Rosa Rojas, children Rosalinda Rojas, Juan Angel Rojas, and Veronica (Paul) Ortiz. Born and raised in Douglas, he attended Douglas public schools, graduating class of 69, he went on to join the Arizona National Guard serving 5 years, and eventually retiring from the City of Douglas water department after 20 years of service. Angel was an avid hunter, fisher, farmer, rancher, dancer, singer and lover of all things outdoors. He enjoyed being with his family at all times, countless memories were made while hunting his "secret spot" with his brothers and nephews, fishing anywhere he possibly could, annual camping trips to Rucker and Cave Creek, and tearing up the dance floor at family parties. A self-proclaimed animal whisper, he loved taking care of all his animals at his Ranchito and growing his milpa every year. His smile and laugh were contagious, anytime he was around was sure to be a great time! Angel is preceded in death by his parents Gabriel and Juanita, sister Monica, brothers Gilberto and Gabriel Jr and nephew Romancito. He leaves behind his wife and children along with grandchildren Mia, Antonio, Alyanna, and Jameson, brothers Arturo (Linda) Rojas, Hector (Barbara) Rojas, Steven (Deanna) Rojas and sister Lina (Sonny) Munoz along with countless nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed by all!
