Andres L. Martinez, born February 4, 1930 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, left us on December 17, 2019 at the age of 89 years old. He is now with his loving wife, Yolanda T. Martinez, in God's kingdom.

He leaves behind his two sons, Andres Martinez Jr. and Alejandro Martinez (Michelle).  One grandchild, Brandy and three step grandchildren. Daniel, Aliyah and Brianna.  He is also survived by 3 of his 7 siblings, Amalia, Josefina and Santiago.

He worked all over in Industrial construction and other miscellaneous jobs to provide for his family as well as build their home in Pirtleville, Arizona. He was a God fearing man and attended his Catholic Church in Agua Prieta, Sonora.

He loved being outside tending to his rose and flower garden. He loved sitting outside in his favorite lawn chair to feel the warmth of the sun on his face. He was a fun loving man who loved to tell jokes and laugh. He always made time for family and his friends. He loved all his family, nieces and nephews, far and near. He was a very stubborn man set in his ways, but as he got older, accepted new things, but one thing never changed, He always prayed daily for his family. He also loved cruising Wal-Mart on a scooter while shopping with his daughter in law while getting his groceries.

He leaves us with the true example of how a father and husband should be... work hard and earn everything. Integrity, Faith and Honesty were his motto.

He's left but will never be forgotten!!!

Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Brown Page Mortuary with the Holy Rosary being recited at 3:00 p.m.  A scripture service will follow the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. with Deacon Mario Castillo officiating. Following his wishes, he will be cremated following the service.
