Andres J. Bojorquez passed away suddenly on May 8, 2019, succumbing to a prevalent yet deadly disease, depression. He was 42 years old. Andres battled as long and as hard as he could.  He was cherished and loved by so many, and he will be greatly missed.  Andres was born November 26, 1976 in Douglas Arizona. Andres was preceded in death by his parents, Hector Bojorquez and Rosalinda Bojorquez. He is survived by his children, Nathan and Emma Bojorquez, his sisters, Rosanna Bojorquez and Sereslinda (Johnny) McGee, his grandmother, Sereslinda Brown, his aunts and uncles, Leticia (Oraldo)Rios, Josie Brown, Jorge Brown, Enrique (Guadalupe) Wilkinson, Norma Wilkinson, Tomas Wilkinson, Frank (Cheryl) Wilkinson and nephews, nieces and cousins.  Andres loved the outdoors, traveling to new places and meeting new people.  He was passionate about Mesoamerican history, anthropology and music, which provided sources of solace and outputs for his creative and inquisitive nature.  He had a good heart, which drew him to social work and teaching.  A high school graduate of Douglas High school class of 1995, he worked at local charter schools in Douglas as a science and history teacher, and as a social worker for various government, for-profit and nonprofit organizations in Tucson and Douglas, specializing in client services for the mentally ill and the homeless.

We will honor his life with services on Friday, May 31 at St. Luke's Catholic Church (1211 E. 15 ^th St, Douglas, AZ 85607) with a Holy Rosary being recited at 10:30 am followed by a Celebration of the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 am.   His ashes will be buried at the Calvary Cemetery with a small reception afterwards at Cilantro's Club at 323 G.
