Amorette Ramirez-Padilla
April 5, 1989 - March 6, 2026
Amorette Ramirez-Padilla was called to Heaven to be with the Lord, with her son, Orlando Ramirez; her fiancé, Bernardo Ramirez; her sister, Swamy Padilla; and her grandmothers, Rafaela Manriquez and Estela Padilla. Amorette was born and raised in Douglas, Arizona, on April 5, 1989. Amorette passed away in Tucson, Arizona, on the afternoon of March 6, 2026, due to ongoing medical complications.
Amorette graduated from CAS High School in 2007 and worked in various customer service jobs, including the Call Center in Douglas and Cricket Wireless in Tucson, and ran her own business, Douglas Antojitos, with some of her well-known treats being Mangonada's and Manzana Loca's. Amorette was a one-of-a-kind person. She had a vibrant personality, but what outrivaled it was her kind heart. No matter what, she would always find a way to help a person, big or small, and to give back, even when she did not have much to give.
Surviving are her beloved children, Gisela, Swamy, Jesus, Orlandito (her Angel) and Robert; her parents, Maria "Susie" Valencia and Xavier Padilla; her brother, Javier Padilla; and her sister-in-law, Juanita; her nephews, Javier, Jadrian, and Joel; and her nieces, Destinie and Jazlynn. Also surviving are her little nieces and nephews, Zayarie, Avyannah, Lazaro-Aramyhs, and Izaiah.
Amorette was dearly loved and will be missed by her many uncles and aunts, Jose R. Valencia, Alma "Menchie" Valencia, Armando Enriquez (Blanca), Angie Brown, Tony Enriquez (Marty), Virginia Padilla, Tony Padilla (Anna), Frankie Padilla (Erica), Alicia Romero (Hector), and Jorge Padilla (Mireya). Amorette had numerous cousins and friends and was loved by many. Those who knew her knew that she was someone you were lucky enough to know and call a friend, and they knew how special a person she was. Amorette will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Brown Page Mortuary. A Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Church. She will be laid to rest at a later date.
Pallbearers who will serve are Jesus "JR" Ramirez, Jose R. Valencia, Javier Padilla Jr., Jadrian Padilla, Joel Padilla, Joshua Reyes, and Pablo A. Reyes. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Ramirez, Giovannie Reyes, Pablo U. Reyes, Byron "Bo" Haynie, Gildardo Trujillo, David Ramos, Wallace J. Myers, Brandon Treviño, Bob Taylor, Tom Vess, and Family Padilla, Valencia, Ramirez.
Amorette will be greatly missed.
