Alberto H. Clark, known affectionately as Beto, whose spirit peacefully departed and entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday August 14, 2024, of natural causes at the age of 90 in Tucson, Arizona.  Born on September 28, 1933, in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico to Horacio and Josephina Larrazolo Clark.  Beto resided in Douglas and in Vail, Arizona until his final moments on this earth.

Beto left Agua Prieta to work on his uncle's ranch in Fronteras, Sonora at the age of 14 where he spent most of his teenage years into his early 20's. He then returned to his hometown to start up his own ranch and farmed the land.   In the early 70's he managed his uncle's dairy farm in Mexicali for a couple of years only to return to Douglas to continue ranching and doing what he loved and did best.  In 1978 he moved to Vail, Arizona where he managed the Andrada Ranch for 14 years.  His love for animals and the open range was his passion.  In his later years he continued ranching on a small acreage near the Vail area and eventually retired and returned to Douglas where he spent most of the time with his brother and childhood friends. He was a man of immense humor, strength, wisdom and let's not forget that twinkle in his eye that has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Beto's memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: his sister Clarissa Reeves (John) and brother Hector Manuel Clark (aka Chiki), children, grandchildren, along with countless friends who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at Brown Page Mortuary on Saturday August 31, 2024.  We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed.

Clark, conocido cariñosamente como Beto, su espíritu partió en paz y entró plenamente en la presencia del Señor el Miércoles 14 de Agosto de 2024, a causa de causas naturales a la edad de 90 años en Tucson, Arizona. Nació el 28 de Septiembre de 1933 en Agua Prieta, Sonora, México, hijo de Horacio y Josefina Larrazolo Clark. Beto residió en Douglas y en Vail, Arizona hasta sus últimos momentos en esta tierra.

Beto dejó Agua Prieta para trabajar en el rancho de su tío en Fronteras, Sonora, a la edad de 14 años, donde pasó la mayor parte de su adolescencia y principios de los 20 años. Luego regresó a su ciudad natal para iniciar su propio rancho y cultivar la tierra. A principios de los años 70, administro la granja lechera de su tío en Mexicali durante un par de años, solo para regresar a Douglas y continuar con la ganadería y hacer lo que amaba y mejor sabía hacer. En 1978 se mudó a Vail, Arizona, donde administro el Rancho Andrada durante 14 años. Su amor por los animales y el campo era su pasión. En sus últimos años continuó con la ganadería en una pequeña parcela cerca del área de Vail y se retiró y regresó a Douglas, donde pasó la mayor parte del tiempo con su hermano y amigos de la infancia. Era un hombre de inmenso humor, fortaleza, sabiduría y, no olvidemos, esa chispa en sus ojos que ha dejado una huella imborrable en los corazones de todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo.

La memoria de Beto será siempre apreciada en los corazones de su familia sobreviviente: su hermana Clarissa Reeves (John) y su hermano Héctor Manuel Clark (también conocido como Chiki), sus hijos, nietos, junto con innumerables amigos que continuarán honrando su legado viviendo sus vidas al máximo.

Para conmemorar su vida notable y los recuerdos que atesoramos, se celebrará un servicio en Brown Page Mortuary el Sábado 31 de Agosto de 2024. Invitamos a todos los que lo conocieron a unirse a nosotros para celebrar la vida de un hombre que fue profundamente amado y será extrañado.
