Aide Castillo Arvayo, 45 years old, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at her home after a long battle of cancer. She was born August 9, 1970 to Jesus (Mono) Arvayo and Sofia Pena Trujillo in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico and was grateful to have been raised by Leticia Sanchez. She was employed by Haven of Douglas before her passing and previously worked for McDonalds of Douglas and Walmart Pharmacy. She was married to Jesus B. Castillo Miranda for 32 years in Douglas Arizona. She is survived by her four children Jesus Javier and Miranda Dawn Castillo, Giovana Lizeth Castillo, Pearla Lorraine Castillo and Victor Alfonso Castillo. She is also survived by her grandson Carlos Alan Castillo. Her surviving siblings are her brothers Jose Castillo, Jorge Castillo, Eddie Castillo, Domingo Castillo Jr., Jerry Castillo, Omar Pena and Jesus Arvayo as well as sisters, Fidela Castillo, Silvia Rendon, Corina Portillo, Lupita Castillo, Julie Martinez, Angie Castillo, Rosa Maytorena, Iovana Pena, Sagrario Serna Arvayo, Julie Arvayo, Rosie Arvizu, Patricia Sanchez, Leticia Martinez, and Yolanda Sanchez. She touched many hearts and will be missed dearly by all her family and the many friends she made along the way. We Love You Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Rosary will be held at Funeraria Renacimiento on Calle 2 Ave 7 in Agua Prieta, Sonora on Friday October 2, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. with viewing beginning at 12:00 pm. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1211 E. 15th Street, Douglas, AZ at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers who will serve are Jose Castillo, Jorge Castillo, Eddie Castillo, Domingo Castillo Jr, Jerry Castillo, Ricardo Portillo and Arnold Arvizu. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesus B. Castillo, Jesus J. Castillo, Victor Castillo and Carlos Castillo. A potluck reception will be held after funeral services at St. Luke Hall.
