Agustina "Nena" Navarro Noriega went to our Loving Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Chandler Regional Hospital at the age of 86.
Nena was born in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. She was the third of nine children, daughter of Eliseo Navarro and Guadalupe Moreno-Navarro. Nena grew up in Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico and was preceded in death by her husband Jesus S. Noriega, her parents and her siblings Jorge, Humberto and Alejandrina. Nena is survived by her siblings: Clodomiro, Armida, Concepcion, Eliseo and Matilde. Her 9 loving children, Luz Guadalupe Gatica, Yolanda (Bill) Hernandez, Ann Mary Mendivil, Rosemary Halum, Jesse Alberto (Maria Rosario) Noriega, Jimmy (Martha) Noriega, Norma (Max) Gallegos, Helen (Scott) Lehman, Danny (Lorena) Noriega and all her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nena lived in Douglas since 1963. Visitation will be held at Brown Page Mortuary on Tuesday September 8, 2015 starting at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Rosary at Immaculate Conception Church at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday September 9th, 2015. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers who will serve are Sean Gibson, Jesse Noriega, Jimmy A. Noriega, Mark A. Noriega, Mario Jesus Gatica, Hector Ivan Gallegos, Jose Pablo Noriega and Dale Lehman.
