Adelina "Chula" Luna, aged 91, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, surrounded by family.

Adelina's life began December 16, 1933 in Cuquiarachi, Sonora, Mexico. Her loving parents were Guadalupe Tapia Luna and Josefa Duron de Tapia. Her siblings were Ernesto, Francisco, Felix and Kina. She became a widow at the age of 32 after losing her beloved husband, Ladislao Luna, in January of 1965. Adelina was a devoted mother to six daughters, Margarita, Julia, Josie, Rosie, Gloria and Olivia. She was a loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and devoted her life to her daughters and grandchildren alike.

Adelina was known for her strength, honesty, kindness, and her wonderful heart.

She loved tending to her garden, caring for her grandchildren, making tortillas and sharing her wonderful cuisine with her family.

A rosary prayer will take place at Brown Page Mortuary on December 29, 2025 at 11 a.m., and the service will commence at noon. Donations or flowers may be made to the Luna family.

Adelina's perseverance, strength, humour, and lifelong love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. She has found peace in heaven and is dancing in God's kingdom.
